Fellowship-Program for Researchers affected by the earthquakes

The Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law Hamburg has officially announced a fellowship-program for researchers affected by the earthquakes in Syria, Turkey and Kurdish regions. The institute writes:

"The effects of the earthquakes that struck areas of Turkey and Syria on 6 February 2023 has also affected many legal researchers. The Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law therefore created a Fellowship Program for affected Researchers, aiming exclusively at persons who are in a current emergency situation as a result of the devastating destructions.

For this purpose, the Institute finances scholarships for research stays of max. 3 months for research in the field of Private Law at the Institute in Hamburg as well as office workstations and access to our library. In addition, we can assist with helpful information with regards to accommodation. The offer is addressed only to Post-Doctoral Researchers or Doctoral Candidates. Affected researchers can contact the Welcome Center of the Institute."
