Attendance and Grade recording in Campus Management (English, pdf-file)
Campus Mangement provides the following features:
- Documentation of regular and active participation in your courses (manual page 8)
- Assigment procedure for exams (manual page 11)
- Entry of grades for module and module part examinations (manual page 16)
- Printing of grade and participation lists (manual page 21)
- Sending mail to individual/all participants (manual page 20)
- Installing authorized representatives for the above mentioned functions (link).
Requirements for the use of all web services:
- A personal FU account, see http://www.zedat.fu-berlin.de/ (German)
- Access to the relevant web applications with a current web browser, see list of supported web browsers.
Please note: In Campus Management, students of the Bachelor's and Master's programs, Law and Veterinary Medicine are recorded. Furthermore, Bachelor's and Master's students in exchange programs (i.e. ERASMUS) who were not able to register and therefore do not appear on the participant lists or on the web interface require written proof of performance for submission to the examination office. Sick notes of students for examinations or other examination dates will be documented as before upon presentation of the medical certificate in the examination office.

Campus Management support:
Support for all lecturers is provided on a decentralized basis by the employees of the departmental administration (German).

Installing authorized representatives:
If you wish to delegate data entry: The representative in Campus Management is authorized in your place to enter and release data, such as exam grades or attendance. This person must be employed at Freie Universität and can be a member of the teaching staff as well as academic or other staff in your department. The nomination of student assistants is not permitted.
Within the web function "Einrichtung einer Vertretung" ("Set up a substitution") you have the option by means of a search function to see the persons of your organizational unit who are already activated for Campus Management and to select the desired person.
If the desired person is not displayed, the person is not known as a user in Campus Management. In this case, please contact the administration of the responsible department. Please remember to inform your representative about the delegation and note that they must have a valid Zedat account. Following the activation of the Zedat account, you can set up the desired substitution. In individual cases, the setting up of representatives can also be done by the examination office of the department.
