On October 7, 2023, Freie Universität Berlin took part in the Namaste Deutschland 2023 event which is an annual festival organised by Goethe Institute Max Mueller Bhavan to celebrate the German language and culture through exhibitions, workshops, competitions, info sessions, film screenings and much more.

Ms. Vibhuti Sukhramani (Head of the Liaison Office in New Delhi), Mr. Bertram Welker (India Advisor, Centre for International Cooperation) and Ms. Shagun Jindal (Project Coordinator at the Laision Office) set up a University Stall at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi where they interacted with young german learners about their interest in studying in Germany and guided them about pursuing higher education at Freie Universität Berlin.
