There are various reasons behind Ketchum Pleon’s involvement in the Deutschlandstipendiumprogram.

“For one thing, we aim to give scholarship recipients insight into the world of communications consulting. For another, though, we also hope to act as a mentor and point of contact for the next generation, sharing our knowledge and experience with them. In our role as a leading communications agency, we believe it is important to support creative, engaged minds early in their studies. Recruitment also factors into our thinking in this area. With this in mind, the things we offer our scholarship recipients include an internship at Ketchum Pleon. This gives them insight into the working world and clientele of a global communications consulting firm early on.”

The agency decided to support students of Freie Universität Berlin for several reasons. Says Winkler, “Our everyday activities as an agency bring us into contact with Freie Universität time and again. For example, our work in the area of public affairs means that we have points of contact with the Otto Suhr Institute. As a result, we are delighted that our work with the Deutschlandstipendium helps to support not just individual recipients, but all the work done by Freie Universität.”
