Selection Committee
The selection committee is installed by the presidency of Freie Universität Berlin and is chaired by the Vice President for Teaching and Studying. It consists of a minimum of one university teacher out of the following areas of study:
- natural sciences
- life sciences
- humanities and cultural studies
- social, business and legal sciences, as well as
at least one academic staff member and one student.
The decision of the commission to grant scholarships is based on the selection criteria imposed by law and the information provided by the applicants. The decision of the commission is subject to approval by the presidency.
