The Dahlem Humanities Center supports scholars in different ways. It hosts fellows under the CHCH-ACLS Fellowship Program. In cooperation with the Benaki Museum (Athens), the Dahlem Humanities Center and the Centrum Modernes Griechenland award the Leigh Fermor House Fellowship. 

Until the funding line of the Volkswagen Foundation and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation came to an end, the DHC regularly hosted scholarship holders financed through this line of funding. In addition, the Dahlem Humanities Center has been supporting young scholars at Freie Universität Berlin since 2016 in inviting visiting scholars from abroad as part of the Dahlem Junior Host Program.
