Dear doctoral candidates,

Your efforts have paid off: As of the winter semester 2024/2025, you are once again entitled to use the Deutschlandsemesterticket, as long as you are enrolled. Information on the semester fees is linked here: Fees and Contributions • Education • Freie Universität Berlin (fu-berlin.de).

One change is that you cannot choose the Deutschlandsemesterticket as an option for yourself, i.e. there is no choice, but only the possibility of being exempted from the Deutschlandsemesterticket if you meet the relevant exemption criteria.
