Einstein Lecture Dahlem Special 2020

Einstein Lecture Dahlem Special 2020

In 2020, the regular Einstein Lecture Dahlem unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the pandemic measures. It should have been held by the polar and marine researcher Prof. Dr. Antje Boetius and would have introduced us to the question of how mankind, polar regions and oceans interact now and in the future. This lecture is postponed to 2021. In 2020, we cordially invite you to our Einstein Lecture Dahlem Special 2020 on "Science Communication at the time of Albert Einstein and Today" (in German).

The Special is dedicated to a major topic that has become particularly important this year. Prof. Dr. Antje Boetius, Director at the Alfred Wegener Institute and winner of the Communicator Award 2018, and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Renn, Director at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and a renowned expert on Albert Einstein, discuss the new and past demands on science communication with Prof. Dr. Günter M. Ziegler, President of Freie Universität Berlin and winner of the Communicator Award 2008. Impressions of Einstein's life accompany and inspire the discussion.
