Fluorescent tubes of all types, energy-saving lamps and LED lamps are illuminants that contain hazardous substances and must be collected separately. There are collection points for these at some properties, which you can best find out from your janitor.
If you are unable to find out where to drop off these lamps in your area, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Waste Disposal Team.
