Memory sticks (USB sticks) without confidential content should be disposed of as electronic waste. There are collection points for electronic waste in many buildings, which you can find out about from your caretaker or your IT representative.
If you cannot find out where to drop off electronic waste in your area, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Disposal Team.
ATTENTION: Memory sticks with confidential content must be securely destroyed in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
The collection takes place in lockable containers, which will be provided on request. If required, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Disposal Team.
