Fireproof glass cannot be disposed of in the normal used glass collection because it has a different melting temperature than container glass and would therefore interfere with the recycling process. Fireproof glass can be disposed of in small quantities in the residual waste.

If larger quantities of fireproof glass are generated, please contact the Sustainability & Energy Unit, Special Waste Disposal Team, directly or via your janitor to discuss the disposal route in individual cases.

ATTENTION: However, larger quantities of fireproof glass from the construction area are to be disposed of by the contracted construction or trade companies in cooperation with the construction manager(s) from the Technical Department responsible for the respective construction measure.
