From 1st Dec. 2023, the funding of open access publication fees for monographs and edited volumes must be adjusted for budgetary reasons.
Excellent theses of Freie Universität Berlin can be funded up to a maximum amount of EUR 2.500 from 1st Dec. 2023. All other monographs can be funded from 1st Dec. 2023 up to a maximum amount of EUR 5.000.
The date of approval is decisive for the funding amount.
Please note that all applications already submitted before 1st dec. remain valid and will continue to be processed by the University Library. If these applications have exceeded the 12-month deadline, please send a short message to edocs@ub.fu-berlin.de.
