Anti-plagiarism software available
The software “Identific” is now available at Freie Universität to help investigate possible plagiarism in written examinations.

The software is still in trial operation, but can be used by interested employees without restrictions. During the trial phase, user accounts are created manually by the University Library. For this purpose, surname, first name and university email address are stored in the system. After the trial period, the login shall be possible with the usual single sign-on procedure.
The software is cloud-based and is operated on a server of the provider, so that session cookies are created during use, which are deleted after two hours.
The software is intended for all lecturers, examiners and persons responsible for examinations.If you would like to use the software, please contact plagiat@ub.fu-berlin.de.
You are also welcome to use this functional e-mail address for further questions concerning the use and handling of the plagiarism software, interpretation of test reports and documentation of manifest cases of plagiarism.
Training courses on the use of the software, the interpretation of test reports and the documentation of plagiarism cases are offered by the University Library and can also be requested as group events from the departments. Please contact plagiat@ub.fu-berlin.de directly.
