Erasmus+ blended mobility internship
From October 2021, the Erasmus+ program offers the possibility to combine short-term stays abroad with virtual phases from home to do an internship. An Erasmus+ mobility grant can be awarded only for the period spent abroad. The stay abroad lasts a minimum of five and a maximum of 30 days. There are no time requirements for the virtual component.
Erasmus+ grants will continue to be used mainly to fund long-term mobilities of two to twelve months. In individual cases, if someone has a degree of disability of 20 or more, if someone has children, and if someone has already done a longer, relevant internship abroad, a blended mobility internship can also be funded.
Participation requirements
- The minimum physical duration of five days must be observed.
- A minimum of 3 ECTS credits will be awarded for the internship (for voluntary internships 3 ECTS should be considered as a guideline for workload).
- Applicants have prior, relevant internship experience abroad.
- Physical long-term mobility is not feasible.
- During the virtual component, collaborative online work, exchange, teamwork takes place within the framework of joint projects.
