The Handbook is the result of a three-year cooperation project between the Universities of Cairo, Alexandria, Sohag and South Valley and the Freie Universität Berlin on "Gender Equality in Higher Education". In this event, held on 28th of September 2016 at the German Science Center, we will present the main findings of this project and look at recent developments and new opportunities for research and teaching in gender equality.
