Support Services for Third-party Funding

The Division of International Affairs provides advice, administrative support in preparing applications, and help with other matters related to projects funded by third parties, such as the DAAD and European Union mobility programs (Erasmus+ Key Actions 1, 2, 3 and the Jean Monnet Program). In addition, it is responsible for reviewing and signing scholarship notifications in the framework of these programs.

Applying for Third-party Funds

If you plan to apply for third-party funding in one of the above-mentioned programs, the Division of International Affairs will help you with the necessary administrative steps in the application process. In addition, it will assist you in managing the administrative tasks that are required once you receive your funding.

Special Conditions for Additional Funds for Material Resources, Mentoring Compensation, and Research Expenses

Special conditions apply to additional funds allocated to hosts of research fellows and scholarship recipients when it comes to material resources and mentoring compensation through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and research expenses through the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH). The process is a bit different from the usual steps involved in requests associated with third-party funding.

Awarding Scholarships from Third-party Funds

The Division of International Affairs is responsible for reviewing and issuing scholarship notifications for student scholarships funded by third parties.
