Freie Universität offers a wide range of continuing education opportunities through various institutions and programs:

The Center for Continuing Education of Freie Universität offers continuing and professional education for employees of the university and other higher education institutions, research and cultural institutions, and even members of the community who are interested in pursuing further education.

In addition, scholars and scientists who have teaching duties can attend continuing education programs focusing on teaching at the university level as part of the Quality Pact for Teaching.

Academic and scientific managers can receive support to fulfill their leadership roles optimally through the Dahlem Leadership Academy.

Various opportunities are open to junior scholars and scientists to obtain continuing education during their early qualification and professional phase, including through the Dahlem Research School.

Academic staff with ongoing responsibilities can continue their education in a knowledge management qualification series. The certificate course is organized jointly by the Center for Continuing Education and the SUPPORT project, with the support of the Staff Development Department (IPE) and the Dahlem Research School (DRS).

Freie Universität also offers a broad spectrum of exchange and support opportunities to support personal and subject-specific further education through stays abroad. These options are geared not only toward scholars, scientists, and researchers, but also toward staff who support these activities.
