The European University Association (eua) invites audiences to the online event “Strengthening the Ukrainian higher education and research sector: the role of displaced Ukrainian researchers” taking place on 19 September 2023 between 14:00-15:00 CET. 

They write: The Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine prompted an immediate display of support by higher education and research institutions, governments and other organisations. As the war is now in its second year, with no end in sight, it is crucial to ensure a long-term approach, which goes beyond immediate help and emergency support. This approach should also consider the continuation and further development of the Ukrainian higher education and research sector, also with regard to its reconstruction and reform.

This webinar will explore how displaced Ukrainian researchers across Europe can contribute to the strengthening of the Ukrainian higher education and research sector. It will share concrete cases of how MSCA4Ukraine fellows continue their academic work between their host and home institutions.
