AiS Training

Academics in Solidarity offers scientific trainings to its members via its AiS training program, which includes workshops, small-group trainings, webinars and additional coaching sessions. The AiS training series is designed specifically for people in postdoc positions and is additionally catered to the demands of displaced and at-risk researchers. AiS Training focuses on key qualification components of scientific careers, such as:

  • navigating the German research landscape
  • funding opportunities and proposal writing
  • project and research management
  • strategic networking
  • career development
  • publication strategies
  • effective mentoring
  • science communication and media literacy
  • mental health and personal wellbeing as researcher
